I had the to opportunity to visit a Butterfly Pavilion nearby. The variety and number of butterflies there was astounding. It was fun to observe them eating and flying up close. I brought my camera with my telephoto lens and shot many images for reference to use later back in the studio. This is one of four small paintings that I created from my visit.
